Yes, this is a real ad, seen by millions during Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve the other night. Not unlike watching Clark attempting to count down the seconds until 2012, the "Forever Lazy" infomercial is awkward and unintentionally hilarious.
The ad, and product, have actually been around awhile, but never has its exposure been so great. Airing just before midnight on December 31, it helped ring in a whole new year of laziness - and comfort! - for millions nationwide. Snuggle up, people!
Basically, it's like the pajamas little kids sleep in, only it's for adults, and not for sleeping. And there's a zipper in back so you don't even have to take it off to relieve yourself.
