As an Education Specialist, you will be responsible for training (including design, delivery and implementation of simulation packages) and clinical support of medical equipment and consumables in Melbourne and also interstate and in country localities where required. There could be up to 60% of your time spent out of Melbourne. The role is for an initial 14 month period, up to December 2013, but depending on the market at the time, this could be extended or become permanent.

Key responsibilities will include:
? Delivering product training programs after purchase of a simulator
? Assisting with the installation of simulators after purchase
? Ensuring that training programs meet real customer needs and increase customer satisfaction
? Working with the Technical Help Desk Manager to co-ordinate course delivery dates and venues
? Ensuring that the company?s training and education programs are cutting edge
? Facilitating training programs that link the total company offering of the Patient Simulator, Courseware, Technical Services and Educational Services.

A strong technical/clinical aptitude in simulation and a passion for and experience in training/education skills will see you enjoy this position. You will work with a diverse customer base, so an engaging interpersonal style is essential. Your genuine enthusiasm for increasing knowledge will help improve patient survival rates. A clinical background in a critical care area, (eg. ICU or A&E), or an ambulance/paramedic background is required.
