This week: The trials of?James ?Whitey? Bulger,?George Zimmerman?and?Bradley Manning?continue, and the U.S. Supreme Court is poised to deliver a blockbuster or two.

??The U.S. Supreme Court is expected to issue orders and opinions.?We?re still waiting for rulings?on affirmative action, gay marriage and voting rights in the 2012-13 term, which ends this month. We are also waiting to find out whether the justices will review?big cases?next term, including one that may dictate the scope of the president?s power to make appointments.

? Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and his four alleged 9/11 co-conspirators?are?slated to appear before a military commission?for another round of pretrial motions. . . . . .
